@pixiethefirecat7 at the end of fallout 3 you have to turn on a water purifier, which will help the wasteland get clean water. the catch is the room it’s in is extremely radioactive and will kill you after you turn on the purifier, but if nobody turns it on it will explode, no clean water for anyone plus you die. fawkes, the super mutant, is immune to radiation, but unless you have a dlc that lets you play after the main quest he will refuse to turn on the purifier
